Traditional Christmas Pudding
Celebrate Christmas the way it’s meant to be—with a pudding that honours tradition while delivering beautifully balanced flavour. This Traditional Christmas Pudding is lighter in style yet rich in character, offering a perfect alternative to heavier, more intense varieties.
Made with a classic blend of brandy and brown ale, it delivers a gentle warmth and depth without overpowering the palate. Studded with flaked almonds and juicy cherries, each spoonful brings a satisfying texture and a subtle sweetness that complements the rich vine fruits at its heart.
Carefully crafted using time-honoured methods, this pudding achieves a wonderfully moist consistency with just the right amount of bite—making it an ideal choice for those who enjoy a more textured, traditional dessert. The combination of quality ingredients and expert preparation creates a pudding that feels both comforting and refined.
Perfect for sharing around the table, this is a true festive classic—lighter, fruit-filled and full of nostalgic flavour. Serve warm with lashings of custard, cream or brandy butter for a timeless Christmas pudding that everyone will enjoy.
A truly scrumptious traditional Christmas pudding.

We had the traditional and the deluxe and we all agreed they were the best puddings we have eaten, and we have enjoyed some good ones over the years including my grandmother’s which was extremely good. Thank you to the Hairy Bikers introduction to Burtree. Same again for next year please!

Bought one of these from a food festival as a pre Christmas ‘tester’ It was gorgeous. Agree with Gosia, probably the nicest I have tasted. I love anything dried fruit. Yey! Roll on Christmas lunch! I would have added more stars if I could.
